About Rise and Shine
Welcome to Rise and Shine, where every bite tells a story, and every guest feels like family. Founded in late 2021 by Humberto, a proud Mexican restaurateur, we set out to bring authentic Mexican flavors and hearty brunch favorites to North Charleston. Our first location, at 4910 Ashley Phosphate Rd, transformed a former Applebee’s into a warm, inviting space surrounded by a close-knit community.

Known for our sweet cream pancakes, Rise and Shine omelette, and chilaquiles with steak, we’re a place where comfort food meets authentic Mexican tradition. Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, you’ll always find generous portions, fresh ingredients, and flavors made with heart.
We’re also excited to be expanding soon to Summerville, bringing the same warmth, flavor, and community spirit to a new neighborhood.
